Welcome to Metrex Federal Credit Union Metrex Federal Credit Union was Chartered in June , 1961 as Essex Division Federal Credit Union to serve the employees of Public Service, Electric Divison, Cole Avenue, Newark, NJ; Irvington, NJ and Maplewood testing Labs, Maplewood, NJ. Since then, the credit union has expaned its charter to offer its services to other Public Service Groups and changed its name to Metrex Federal Credit Union. The Credit Union has, in the past few years, progressed from a credit union that offers basic services to one that offers services at a level normally found only in credit unions twice its size.
At Metrex Federal Credit Union, we've grown our membership from the ground up. Deeply rooted in the philosophy of "people helping people," our strong focus on member relations is not a byproduct of our success, it's the source. |
CREDIT UNION MEMBERSHIP WHO CAN JOIN THE CREDIT UNION 
Employees that work at Public Service Metro Divison, Clifton, NJ; PSEG, Irvington, NJ; Research & Testing Lab at Maplewood, NJ and Fleet Maintenance in Edison, NJ are eligible to join the credit union.
In addition, family members of the above listed employees are also eligible to join the credit union. |
